About Me: I am a post-graduate student doing my PhD in antibiotic resistant bacteria to put it simply. I love science, hence the continuation of my studies through to this point. I love darts, and have played it for about 7 years now. Also why when I discovered this site I joined! I have just moved to Darwin from Brisbane, and am getting used to the continual hotness of it all, and the prospect that the temperature isn't going to drop much at all for the duration of the year. I am also not liking the prospect of seeing a crocodile out in the wild, so off-the-beaten track adventures will be kept to a minimum. I like to have fun, listen to music, do some drawing, throw some darts, and drink some rum! I have just bought myself an acoustic guitar and i am teaching myself to play. Any tips or hints would be gladly appreciated...
Music: I like lots of different styles of music and musicians alike. Thus I am not going to bother (because I don't have the rememberance capacity nor the time) to write them all out for everyone here.
Movies: Action films used to be my fave, but I find them to be somewhat boring these days. Same ol' same ol'. I like suspense and thriller movies, and I LOVE horror movies. The gorier the better! Drama's aren't really my cup of tea, but I will give a special mention to the movie "August Rush" which I viewed on the plane comeing to Darwin. Very good movie.
TV: House, Medium, NCIS, Robot Chicken, Vicar of Dibley, Sensing Murder, Whose Line is it Anyway...to name a few. on't really get much time to watch TV.
Books: I love books. I consume books. Fuuny, Horror, suspense, thriller...LOVE THEM! I can pretty much read anything, and I am trying to read period novels (which are usually boring and I generally miss the point lol). I have been going through a Bret Easton Ellis phase, I also like the authors: James Patterson, Kathy Reichs, Elizabeth George, and I love the Stephanie Plum novel series (can't remember the author's name).
Likes: Lots of things.
Dislikes: Lots of things.
Hobbies: Numeous and varied. I get bored very easily so need to have many things on the go to keep myself occupied.
Vices: Probably many, but vices are usually enjoyable, so thus don't usually categorise them as such.
